Palmetto Soft Leaf Buffalo is an allergy friendly, evergreen Soft Leaf buffalo with low maintenance and drought tolerance. It is a hard wearing turf with quick recovery from damage and can handle sunny and partly shady areas (requires 2-4hrs of direct sunlight.) Palmetto is a cold, hardy, frost tolerant buffalo grass and will hold its appealing deep green colour very well all year round. Palmetto is ideal for home lawns, especially if it is near the water. ST-26 Austine Soft Leaf Buffalo is an evergreen buffalo which has a bright green colour and is a very soft medium textured, semi-dwarf variety of Buffalo, with a faster general growth rate where fast recovery from wear is required. ST26 has excellent shade tolerance and it doesn’t go purple in winter. It is ideal for home lawns or where a high quality turf grass appearance is needed. Also is very soft and also very durable. Infrequent deep watering is recommended for this grass once established. ST-85 Ausfine Soft Leaf Buffalo has an attractive emerald green colour which is a very soft textured, dwarf fine leaf and is a very tightly matted lawn which has a manicured appearance. It is an attractive grass in summer and has a fair winter colour in frost prone areas. It has a good root system and is hardy once established. ST-85 Ausfine Soft Leaf Buffalo is one of the slowest growing varieties which means low maintenance. It grows well in full sun and can handle up to 80% shade, one of the more shade tolerant varieties in the buffalo range.
Marine Soft Leaf Buffalo
"Marine" Soft Leaf Buffalo. Exclusive to ABC Turf Supplies, this new grass is born & bred in the Hawkesbury NSW and grows in full sun and semi-shade. New "Marine" Soft Leaf Buffalo has a low growth habit which means less mowing. It repairs well from wear and is also weed resistant because of its multiple branching which produces a very tight mat. Marine has a dark green colour and thrives in the coastal regions, hence its name.

Durban
Durban, also called Sweet Smother Grass, is a non allergenic lawn and is very soft to the touch with wide flat leaves. Durban grass is easily maintained overall and can tolerate shaded areas up to 80% to 90%. Durban has a rich emerald green like appearance but the colour darkens when grown in the shade or when heavily fertilised. Ideal for domestic use because of its lush green matt appearance. Durban is the most shade tolerant of all lawn varieties. If you’re looking for a grass for a shade problem area where other varieties have failed, Durban is the way to go.

Kenda is a Kikuyu with great drought and wear tolerance. As well as being able to handle heavy wear and prolonged drought, Kenda is fast to establish. Kenda is uniform and has a dense appearance. There have been no yellow leaves observed on Kenda. During trials, Kenda also appeared to have a great winter colour.
